How to Assess Your Body Weight

BMI and Waist Circumference are the common ways to assess body weight.  BMI is Body Mass Index.  It’s a mathematical formula that involves ones height and weight.
Calculating BMI is very easy.  I can explain it in following steps.
  1. Calculate your height in meter squared.
  2. Divide weight in kilograms by your height in meter squared. This gives your BMI.
Note
To get weight in kilograms do divide your weight in pounds by 2.2
To  get height in meters do multiply your height in inches by 2.54
Thus…BMI is weight in kilograms divided by height in meter squared.
BMI= kg/m2
